NeedsPage privacy notice

Effective 2026-10-13.

Who operates NeedsPage

NeedsPage is operated by Mark Phillips, a sole proprietor trading as Start AI Cincy, at 301 Constance Pl, Harrison, OH 45030, United States. For questions about this notice or your personal information, contact Mark@needspage.com.

Information we use

We collect account and organization details you provide, including names, email addresses, optional phone numbers, branding and page settings. We keep the needs, event details, commitments, supporter contact details, messages and follow-up records entered into the service. We also keep team permissions, support requests, payment references, subscription status and any tax-exemption evidence you submit.

Your organization's published page, needs, logos and sponsor information are public. Supporter contact details, private notes, conversations, billing records and tax-exemption documents are restricted to authorized people. A private note should not contain information your organization does not need to handle the request.

We use this information to operate your page, record commitments, send confirmations and requested follow-up, process subscriptions and payments, provide support, prevent abuse and recover the service. We do not store full card numbers. The payment provider collects payment and identity information in its own secure forms.

Organizations and supporters

The organization receiving a commitment uses the supporter information to arrange and follow up on that commitment. It is responsible for its use of that information and for deciding which staff may access it. Contact that organization first to correct or cancel a commitment. Contact us about information held for your NeedsPage account or a privacy request the organization cannot resolve.

Service providers and Sidekick

We use service providers for hosting, authentication, storage, payments, email, AI assistance, optional analytics and encrypted recovery backups. They receive information needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by law or to address fraud, abuse or security incidents.

When you use Sidekick, your message, conversation context and the relevant organization records needed to answer the request can be processed by our AI service. Avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information. Tax-exemption document contents and full card numbers are not provided to Sidekick. AI replies can be wrong; review proposed changes before confirming them. Technical support investigations may use limited report information to diagnose a problem, with owner review before a reply or software change is released.

Optional analytics and essential storage

Essential browser storage supports sign-in, page setup and your preferences. Optional analytics remain off unless you choose them. Limited event and campaign labels can connect a visit to later account setup and product use using an opaque identifier. We exclude names, contact details, chat text, uploads and payment contents from those events; session recording is disabled. Ordinary service request metadata may still be processed to deliver and protect the service.

Change your choice through Cookie preferences or Analytics to stop future optional collection. Changing the preference does not recall events already sent. Optional analytics records may be retained for up to one year.

Retention, access and deletion requests

Canceling a subscription stops renewal; it does not delete your existing records. Authorized account holders can still read saved records under the service's access rules. Deleted needs can be restored, so moving a need to Deleted is not permanent erasure. Deleting a Sidekick conversation clears its saved conversation content; completed actions and necessary audit records may remain.

You can request access, correction, export or deletion by contacting us. We verify your authority before releasing or deleting information. We aim to respond within 30 days and will explain any additional information, time or lawful retention needed. We may retain records necessary for unresolved payments, disputes, security, legal obligations or establishing rights. We will explain relevant exceptions rather than promise that every record is erased immediately.

Encrypted recovery copies follow a seven-daily and four-weekly retention cycle, with overlap counted once. Retired copies enter recoverable backup-storage Trash and remain subject to that provider's deletion cycle. Information removed from the active service may therefore remain in restricted backups temporarily. A restoration must preserve verified deletion requests.

Security and scope

We use access controls, encrypted connections and restricted backups to protect information. No service can promise absolute security. Account holders should protect their sign-in details and remove staff access when it is no longer needed. NeedsPage is not intended for storing medical records, government identity documents outside the payment provider's required forms, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

This initial service is offered for US organizations. Organization account owners must be adults authorized to act for the organization. We do not knowingly offer accounts to children under 13. If you believe a child has supplied information to us, contact us so we can address it. Organizations remain responsible for any guardian consent, eligibility and supervision required for their activities.
